Modern, minimal homeware inspired by nature
In collaboration with De Rossee Sa Architects & Lanserring, Alix Lawson turned this 3,500 sqft period property into a contemporary family oasis in the heart of Notting Hill. Clean lines and authenticity of materials created a seamless architectural canvas for the contemporary interior. Subtle textural transitions and a clean palette introduce an element of sophistication and elegance to the minimal interior. The furniture was inspired by sculptural simplicity and the timeless appeal of Japanese and mid-century Scandinavian design, creating warmth, character, and a serene space for family living. This quiet balance allows the interior to have a voice of its own while providing an opportunity for the clients to showcase their extensive art collection.
